Daniel Brusilovsky Logo

Logo Design

Freelance Project • June 2017

Who is Daniel?

Daniel is a writer and a software developer. This logo would be used in a professional capacity when networking, but also to create a personal brand on sites such as GitHub.

Inspiration

Daniel's request was as follows: "A logo that somehow uses the simple elegance of the client's initials, "dpb" particularly emphasizing their use of the same shape three times. The ideal logo would be monochrome or work in a variety of color schemes, so that the shape is more important than the colors." He wanted something minimal, elegant, and clean.

Daniel was attracted to monogram logos like these.

Sketches

After discussing what Daniel wanted, I sketched some examples. I showed him those sketches, took his feedback, and sketched some more.

I played with different shapes and personalities at this stage.

Iterations

I made some vectors, got his feedback, and made some more.

More playing until I got it just right.

Fun Examples

Daniel wanted his logo to be monochromatic so that he could make it any color he wanted to. So I did some fun things with it.
